Before your account goes live, every person doing jobs through Repairo is background-checked and verified. This is a one-time fee charged at onboarding — it never recurs, and it does not depend on which plan you choose. Contractors on Free pay it too.

What does the one-time onboarding fee cover?
It covers vetting, verification, and account activation for each person who will work on jobs through your account — $130 for the account owner, plus $30 for each additional technician you add. It's charged once, not monthly.
Does the Free plan skip the onboarding fee?
No. The onboarding fee is the same on every plan, including Free — $130 for the account owner plus $30 per additional technician. Free means no monthly subscription cost; it does not mean free to join. Vetting and verification happen before any account goes live, whichever plan you pick.
Do higher tiers pay a different commission?
No. The commission rate is identical on every tier — Free, Standard, and Pro+. Tiers only change how quickly jobs are routed to you. The full commission terms are detailed in the Contractor Terms.
Can I change tiers later?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from the billing section of your contractor dashboard. Plan changes and billing are handled on the web.
